KAT Suspends Service for Today, Jan. 19, 2024

KAT Snow Routes Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) is suspending service today, Friday, January 19, 2024, due to dangerous road conditions.

Safety is the number one priority and the roads are too icy in order to operate safely.

KAT plans to operate severe snow routes tomorrow, Saturday, January 20 with the first line-up at 11:15 a.m., and the last line-up at 8:15 p.m.

Severe snow routes provide service only along major corridors of Knoxville.

SEVERE SNOW ROUTES


• Route 11 - Kingston Pike
• Route 12 - Western Avenue
• Route 22 - Broadway
• Route 31 - Magnolia Avenue
• Route 41 - Chapman Highway


Operations are subject to change based on road conditions tomorrow.
