City of Knoxville offices will be closed Friday, March 29, 2024, for the Good Friday holiday.

The holiday means some changes in City services, including:

All City-operated Community Centers are closed Friday.

The City's Solid Waste Facility, at 1033 Elm Street, will be closed Friday, March 29 and Saturday, March 30, 2024.

Customer service representatives will not take calls Friday at 311 or 211. Residents who need to report issues or access services are encouraged to download the My Knoxville app for iPhone and Android at KnoxvilleTN.gov/App. Residents may submit requests at www.KnoxvilleTN.gov/311, via email [email protected] or go to 211.org for a list of social services.

The City's five recycling drop-off centers will be open March 29, but the Goodwill attendant will only be available to receive donations of household goods until 1 p.m.  Please don’t leave donations at unattended donation centers.

Some services will not change over the weekend:

Waste Connections will run its normal residential garbage and recycling routes, and downtown trash and recyclables will also be collected as usual over the holiday weekend.

Knoxville Area Transit buses will operate on a regular schedule.
