Directions: Located in South Knoxville off of Avenue A. Take Chapman Highway S; turn right onto Martin Mill Pike; turn right onto Avenue A; turn left onto Cleage; after three blocks, turn left onto Drive D; park is on right.


Joe Foster Park

Nestled between neighboring houses, Joe Foster Park provides a basketball court, playground and swings with picnic facilities for the Vestal Community. A walking trail circumvents the park. 


HISTORY OF THE PARK

This park is dedicated to Joe Foster who wanted his neighborhood to have a park so he sold this property to the City of Knoxville for the community to benefit!


PARK RULES & REGULATIONS

1.) For the protection of our park and the safety of its users, the following are prohibited:
  • No alcoholic beverages
  • No open fires
  • No hitting golf balls anywhere in the park
  • No motorized vehicles in park
  • No equestrian activity
2.) Per city ordinance, all animals must be maintained on a leash.
3.) Please be respectful of other trail users.
4.) Please help to keep our parks beautiful by disposing trash in proper receptacles.
5.) Hours - Open dawn to dusk unless otherwise posted.
