POOL PARTY RENTALS
The South Knoxville Community Center Pool can be rented out for birthday parties and other events. The pool is available on weekends as well as during regular hours of operation. Please call the South Knoxville Community Center staff for rates and availability at 865-579-3122.

The Pickers and Grinners is open to all musicians
and they give free concerts every week.


Directions: Headed south on the Henley Street bridge, and at the red light at Baptist Hospital, turn right onto Blount Ave. (Train tunnel is one lane only.) Continue about 1.5 miles to next red light. On your right will be Mary Vestal Park. Continue straight (approx. 100 ft.) Recreation center is on left. (Entrance is before the railroad tracks.)


This community center has a variety of senior programs open to the public! This includes aquatic programs at the indoor pool on the bottom floor of the facility. You can refer to the Elmer Brine Pool webpage for more information of programs and hours of operation.

RULES AND REGULATIONS IN CITY RECREATION CENTERS

The following are prohibited in city recreation centers:

1) Possession of firearms and weapons
2) Possession of drugs, alcohol, or any elicit substance
3) Smoking or use of tobacco products
4) Gambling
5) Use of profanity
6) Fighting
7) Dunking or hanging on rims of basketball goals
8) Pets
9) Only indoor court shoes allowed (ex: tennis shoes or non-marking soles)

 Violation of these rules or any other rules set by individual centers may result in suspension from this center and others. Suspension terms will be set by each center.
