Ten Mile Creek Greenway connects the City and the County boundaries. Beginning at Walker Springs Rd. (to the west of Wal-Mart), the greenway travels parallel to Ten Mile Creek, passed Walker Springs Park, continuing west and crossing Bridgewater Rd. under I-75/I-40. The greenway continues into the city limits and ends at far eastern end of the Carmike Wynnsong Theater parking lot.
On its eastern end, Ten Mile Creek Greenway also connects to
Cavet Station Greenway, which runs north to Middlebrook Pike and the Middle Brook Pike sidewalk system. Cavet Station Greenway also connects east to
Jean Teague Greenway in West Hills Park in addition to West Hills Elementary School. Future plans for Ten Mile Creek Greenway have it connecting from the western end at Carmike Wynnsong Theater southwest to the sidewalk system on Ebenezer Rd. that runs all the way to Northshore Dr.
