Holston River Park

Holston River Park, nestled along the banks of the Holston River, augments a multi-recreational play area. If water is your choice, there are two fishing piers and a canoe/kayak launch.  Holston River Park opened in April 1997.

Holston River Park

If you prefer to stay on the ground, the park has two soccer fields, lots of open space, playgrounds, and trails.

The Holston River Greenway goes through the park providing a paved path for walkers, runners and bicyclists, while the perimeter trail winds through the forest on natural surface terrain, forming a loop along the southern edge of the park.

Holston River Park

There are picnic areas and a playground for families and friends to gather and enjoy. Let your canine friends romp unleashed in the fenced-in large or small dog sections in the PetSafe Dog Park.

PETSAFE DOG PARK

In 2012, the Holston River Petsafe Dog Park was constructed as the fifth installment of a Petsafe donation to build five dog parks within the City of Knoxville and Knox County. The dog park is located on the Holston River Greenway the south end of Holston River Park and has separate sections for large and small dogs, a dog water fountain, and dog waste stations.

PARK SHELTER

There are two shelters available for birthday parties, family reunions, group meetings, etc.  Reservations required, call 865-215-4311 or click link above.
