Directions: From I-40, take the West Hills exit 380. Turn left onto Kingston Pike. Turn right onto Morrell Rd. At the fourth stoplight, turn left onto Deane Hill Road. The community center will be on your immediate right.
Deane Hill Community Center has a full-size gymnasium, rec room, and kitchen. This center connects to the Knoxville Bridge Club which has a large bridge/community room.

DEANE HILL COMOMUNITY CENTER PROGRAMS

Adult League Volleyball is a City of Knoxville Athletics Department program that provides team volleyball leagues a venue for play.
After School Program is a free service for parents of children ages 6-12. The program operates from 2:45 pm until 5:30 pm (and extended hours on half days and early release days), Monday through Friday on Knox County School's schedule. Participants enjoy gym games, arts and crafts, board games and a daily snack is provided.
Creative Learning Academy is a secular Homeschool Co-op for preschool to high school aged children. Parents attend and participate in educating their children, in a truly cooperative environment.
Dancing Friends is a free beginner line dancing class. Every class covers a variety of dances and allows a window for socializing.
Homeschool Art is a class designed to explore a variety of art elements and mediums for budding Homeschool artists.
Homeschool P.E. offers classes for ages 5-17. Classes cover stretches, agilities, exercises, sportsmanship, and games in a fun and inclusive environment to ensure that physical activity becomes a lifelong passion.
Pickleball is the nation's fastest growing sport. Pickleball is a hybrid between Ping Pong and Tennis. It is played with a paddle (similar to a Ping Pong paddle), a whiffle ball, and a net either indoors or outdoors. Deane Hill has three indoor courts and Open Play, which means that all members of the community are welcome.
S.A.I.L. (Stay Active & Independent for Life) is a proven Falls Prevention Program that includes aerobics, balance, strength & flexibility training. These elements are designed to improve balance, strength, and overall fitness (in a standing or seated position).
Tai Chi is a non-profit program that aims to offer all citizens the many benefits of the practice. Benefits include alleviation of suffering, cultivation of good health to promote physical, mental, and spiritual well-being in the community.
Women’s Circuit Workout is a FREE full body workout for women using body weight and dumbbells. It is designed to increase strength, endurance, balance, and flexibility for participants.
W.O.W., Women of Wisdom, is a non-denominational bible study and fellowship group that emphasizes fellowship and community support. All women are welcome to join!
Youth Basketball League practices are held Monday through Thursday evenings from the first of November through the end of February. Practices are scheduled by WBBL and KYS commissions from 6pm until 8:45pm.
RULES AND REGULATIONS IN CITY COMMUNITY CENTERS
The following are prohibited in city community centers:
1) Possession of firearms and weapons
2) Possession of drugs, alcohol, or any elicit substance
3) Smoking or use of tobacco products
4) Gambling
5) Use of profanity
6) Fighting
7) Dunking or hanging on rims of basketball goals
8) Pets
9) Only indoor court shoes allowed (ex: tennis shoes or non-marking soles)
Violation of these rules or any other rules set by individual centers may result in suspension from this center and others. Suspension terms will be set by each center.
