Earlier this month, thousands of people descended on World's Fair Park for Festival on the 4th. The free, family-friendly event features games, live music, food trucks, a performance by the Knoxville Symphony orchestra, and of course—fireworks!
Dozens of men and women from our Public Service Department, KPD, KFD, and Special Events were on hand to make sure everyone was able to make fun, safe, lasting holiday memories!
“This may have been one of our biggest crowds yet,” said Special Events Director Kyndra Brewer. “Everywhere you looked–the fountains, the lawn, around the stage–people were laughing and having a good time. It was a great day!”
