The City of Knoxville maintains the City Survey Control System (SCS), a 3D network of survey control points that surveyors and engineers use to reference projects horizontally and vertically within the city. The

KGIS partner to maintain an interactive website that allows users to access the
Survey Control System.

Advanced Tools & Compliance
Follow these steps for professional data reporting and regulatory checks:
- Accessing Data: When a control point is identified, two links will appear in the Information Panel on the left where you can click on the Station ID to view published coordinates.
- Official Reports: Select Control Point Report to generate a printable PDF containing the map and all station metadata.
- Checking Compliance: To verify Survey Control System Requirements, select "Show the layer List" from the main drop-down menu to allow access and toggles to different features such as Control Points Buffers.
- City Ward Maps: To view official boundaries, toglle "City Wards" on and turn the "Basemap" off in the layer list.
