MAYOR MADELINE ROGERO
Madeline Rogero was sworn in as the City of Knoxville's first female Mayor on Dec. 17, 2011. She served as Mayor until Dec. 21, 2019.
Mayor Rogero was dedicated to promoting a vibrant local economy, strong neighborhoods, a high quality of life, a thriving downtown and a greener Knoxville. She believed Knoxville's strength comes from the diversity of its people and the beauty of its natural resources.
