2026 Kid A' Riffic Fun in the Park

Kid A’ Riffic Fun in the Park is an event for children age 2-12 offering hands on crafts and activities provided by City departments and entities.

Kid A’Riffic Fun in the Park will be held on Wednesdays in June and July from 10am-1pm at a different park each week.

Come enjoy making crafts, playing games and so much more while making fun memories over summer vacation. All activities are free!

We are very excited to announce the schedule with some new locations!


2026 Schedule - 10am - 1pm

June 3 - Chilhowee Park with a Touch-A-Truck, 401 Lakeside St.
Kid A'Riffic at Chilhowee Park will have a Touch-A-Truck area, kazoo fun, arts and crafts and there will be a food truck on site. 
*Free parking is available in the parking lot located at 401 Lakeside St.

June 10 - Covenant Health Park, 500 E. Jackson Ave
Kid A'Riffic will take place in the concourse of Smokies Stadium. We will have foam fun as well as crafts and activities and access to their kids Fun Zone!
*Free parking available in the South Jackson lot located next to the baseball stadium.

June 17- Baxter Ave Park, Fire Station #3, 204 E. Baxter Ave
Kid A'Riffic will take place on Stewart Street, in Baxter Ave Park and at Fire Station #3. Enjoy tours of the fire station, meet your local firefighters and learn about fire safety! Also enjoy free arts and crafts.
*Free parking is available curbside along all of the side streets

June 24 - Hill Ave between Hall of Fame & State St., 250th Celebration
Partnering with Blount Mansion, James White's Fort, East TN History Center and Women's Basketball Hall of Fame for a fun 250th celebration! Enjoy free tours of the museums, history fun and games, a drum lesson, free crafts and activities and lots of patriotic fun! We will have a food truck on site.
*Free parking available in Dwight Kessel Garage located at 900 State Street, which is right outside from the event!

July 8 - Urban Wilderness Gateway Park, 1515 Tilson Rd
Enjoy the new playground that we opened in January of this year! We will have some special urban activities and free crafts and games and we will have a food truck on site!
*Free parking available in parking lot on site

July 15 -West Hills Park, 410 N. Winston Rd
We will be in West Knoxville with some fun crafts and activities at West Hills Park. There are 2 playgrounds
onsite, one special for smaller kids. We will have a food ruck on site.
*Free parking available in the lot on site at 410 N. Winston Rd.

July 22- World's Fair Park, 910 World's Fair Park Dr.
Enjoy some special fun at our last Kid A'Riffic of the season!
We will have a foam party, water fun in the fountains, learn to drum, free crafts and activities and so much more!
*Parking available in Fort Kid lot, World's Fair Parking lot, and Locust Garage
