Despite wintry weather, the contractor continues to work on dismantling the northbound and southbound approach spans of the bridge.
Traffic counts on the detour and alternate routes will continue for several more weeks while we continue to work on the signal timing of these affected intersections.

Also, there will be a meeting with Councilman Nick Pavlis and the South Knoxville businesses at the Henley Community Center, Monday, January 31, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. to discuss issues with the closure of the Henley Bridge. Everyone is invited.
