Week 11 update: Foundation Walls and Interior Demolition 
Midway into Week 11 of the Public Safety Complex reconstruction project, crews are continuing interior demolition, mobilizing to infill foundation walls and removing debris.

This week, Environmental Abatement Inc. crews are moving into above-ceiling demolition on the 5th and 6th floors of the former Professional Office Building. They also are tackling interior demolition on the 5th floor, and they are getting started on the 4th floor ceiling, accessible through the garage.

G&P Masonry is getting started with foundation walls infill work on the original 1929 St. Mary's Hospital building. The 91-year-old iconic building is being preserved and will be incorporated into the future redevelopment of the hospital's northern end.

Also this week, Renascent Inc. is removing debris from the hospital's Central Wing.

The City is investing $46.5 million to convert the vacant hospital campus into a combined Public Safety Complex that will house the Police Department offices, Fire administrative offices, City Court and Pension System offices.
