KPD Accepting Applications for Crime Scene Technician Position

If you have an interest in forensics and a desire to play an active role in criminal investigations, the Knoxville Police Department is now accepting applications for open Crime Scene Technician positions. Applications are being accepted now through August 5, 2022.

Crime Scene Technicians play a crucial role in KPD investigations. Crime Scene Technicians are responsible for ensuring the integrity of evidence collected through detailed crime scene processing, fingerprint classification, inventory control of seized property or evidence, and more.
