Chapman Highway shooting
The KPD Violent Crimes Unit is investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning and left one man with serious injuries.
On Sunday, March 1 at approximately 3:03 am, patrol officers were responding to a disturbance in the parking lot in front of 3709 Chapman Highway when gunshots were heard.
A 25-year-old male gunshot victim was transported to the UT Medical Center with serious injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening at this time. There are no suspects currently in custody.
The shooting is now under investigation and there is no further information at this time.
