Mayor Rogero Pledges City's Support For 'Play Ball' Initiative 
The month of August 2015 is "Play Ball Month" and mayors having been implementing initiatives throughout cities across the United States.

Mayor Madeline Rogero has pledged the City of Knoxville to participate in the U.S. Conference of Mayors partnership with Major League Baseball's "Play Ball" initiative focusing on the fun nature of baseball and softball and encouraging participation in the sport and related activities.
