Fans of antiques, hand-made goods, and other unique items rejoice: The Gathering, a market for these kinds of items – “a primitive and country gathering of old and new,” as its website says – returns to the Jacob Building at Chilhowee Park for its Knoxville Fall Show on Friday, August 21 and Saturday, August 22. According to the website, items available at the Gathering will include “Antiques, Primitives, Handmade Items, Garden and Seasonal items.” The event begins on Friday from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will continue on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and free for children ages 12 and under, and more information is available at thegatheringshow.com.
