City Bids Fond Farewell To Longtime Plans and Inspections Employee Tom Reynolds
The City of Knoxville bid a fond farewell to longtime Plans and Inspections employee, Tom Reynolds who retired Dec. 3 after many years of service.
Reynolds began his career with the City in May 1998 in Community Development as a Rehabilitation Specialist, and he was later promoted to Construction Management Supervisor.
He transferred to Plans Review and Inspection in July 2001 as the Rehabilitation Chief for the downtown district; he became the Building, Zoning, Signs & Plans Review Chief in April 2005 and was later promoted to the Building Inspections Deputy Director in February 2011.
According to Reynolds's wife, he will be spending retirement working on his farm in Niota, taking care of his mules and running a "Bed and Barn."
