Resurfacing to Take Place in Old City, Downtown North 
The City's resurfacing contractor will begin work as early as Monday, Nov. 5, to resurface along the following sections in the Old City and Downtown North neighborhoods.

The work on Broadway will include the re-striping plan that City Traffic Engineering outlined in this PRESENTATION at a public meeting earlier this year.

Time Restrictions
  • ​​Fourth Avenue - No restrictions
  • Fifth Avenue and Broadway - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • North Central Street and Jackson Avenue - 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday - Friday

Traffic flow will be maintained at all times, except in brief periods (typically five minutes or less) when crews work through intersections. For more information, call 865-215-6100.
