Library Now Offers New Curbside Delivery Service

Posted: 07/31/2020
Library A Go!Knox County Public Library is pleased to now offer curbside delivery at all locations. "Library-to-Go" makes it possible for patrons to pick up materials without leaving their vehicle.

To use the service, patrons must reserve their materials through the online catalog, by using ask a librarian, or by calling any branch.  Once materials are ready, patrons will be notified and have 8 days to pick them up. Each library has designated "Library-to-Go" parking spots with instructions and a phone number to call for their delivery. During inclement weather (thunderstorms, hail, ice, etc.), Library-to-Go curbside service will be suspended.

"We are very pleased to make curbside delivery possible in these uncertain times," commented Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs. "This service will give our most vulnerable patrons confidence to continue using the Library."

The Library is taking every precaution to create safe spaces and to comply with the five core actions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Mask use is required inside the buildings, and all library materials are quarantined for 72 hours after return.
