Week 34: Foundation Wall Being Removed, Site Cleanup Under Way 
This week at the Public Safety Complex reconstruction site in North Knoxville, a number of mid-sized jobs are in process.

Renascent contractor crews are continuing to remove an unneeded foundation wall that runs between the Central Wing (being demolished) and the Central Wing Annex (being repurposed as Police Department and Pension System offices).

Renascent also is continuing to process demolition materials at the site of the vacated St. Mary's Hospital.

Meanwhile, Environmental Abatement Inc. crews are removing flooring from the third floor of the Women's Pavilion (being repurposed to house 911 and Knoxville-Knox County Emergency Management Agency operations), demolishing the Central Wing Annex mechanical room, and continuing miscellaneous site cleanup.
