KPD Investigating Robbery at First Horizon Bank 
UPDATE (December 7, 2021, 4:50 p.m.): Investigators Continuing to Seek Identity of Bank Robbery Suspect 

KPD Violent Crimes Unit investigators and FBI Special Agents are continuing to investigate the robbery that took place on Monday afternoon at the First Horizon Bank located at 324 N. Cedar Bluff Road. 

The suspect from the robbery, who remains unidentified at this time, is described as a white male, measuring approximately 5’5”. Attached is a photo of the suspect as he fled from the bank through the parking lot of the nearby McDonald’s. As part of the ongoing investigation, investigators are seeking dashcam video or other information from anyone who was in the McDonald’s parking lot or the Cedar Bluff area on Monday at around 3:15 p.m. that could assist in identifying the suspect.

At around 3:10 p.m. today, Knoxville Police Department officers responded to the First Horizon Bank located at 324 N. Cedar Bluff Road in reference to a robbery. Bank employees reported that an unknown white male approached a teller, demanded money and fled on foot from the bank. KPD Violent Crimes Unit investigators and FBI Special Agents responded to the scene and are continuing to investigate the robbery. At this time, the suspect has not been identified or apprehended.
