5 New Kiosks Installed Along Cumberland Avenue
Here's one of the new kiosks, located on 17th Street near Cumberland.

Five new kiosks have been installed along Cumberland Avenue, 17th Street and North 19th Street.

The kiosks provide helpful wayfinding information for visitors - both about Knoxville in general but also about landmarks and attractions specific to the Cumberland Avenue District.

Say you're the parent of a University of Tennessee student, visiting and looking for a nearby hotel - or University Commons. Or Clarence Brown Theatre. The kiosks can help you find your destination.

Maybe you've driven to Knoxville from Lexington, Ky., for a UT-Kentucky baseball game, but you can't find Lindsey Nelson Stadium. The kiosks can show you the way.

Looking for a Knoxville park? Wanting to find a mall or Zoo Knoxville? Not sure how to get back to the Interstate 40 or I-75 interchange where your hotel is after a Vol game? Check the kiosks.

The maps were designed by a local mapmaker, John Innes of User Friendly Maps.

Plus, the kiosks include cork message boards, where residents and businesses can post information about upcoming events or needed services.
